These temperatures were much more common when we grew up and lived in Minnesota. We use to go on winter cross country ski trips to Camp DuNord in January and the temperature was usually around 20 below with wind chill temperatures around 45 below! It was one of the reasons we chose to move out of Minnesota when Jim took his early retirement. Hopefully this won't last long--though I think you need more moisture. Stay warm. JoAnn
Full disclosure: This is my favorite weather! This is the kind of weather that makes you think before you act. It invigorates your mind and body if you're willing to expose yourself to it. Most important, it knocks us all back down to the fundemental truth that earth and it's elements are in full control!
